Retail Banking
Banking is part of everyone’s daily life. So
from personal experience you know what we do. And perhaps you know
how we could do even better.
This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and re-invent
Retail during a challenging graduation internship. This internship
gives you a sneak preview of the Retail Banking Leadership
Programme ING offers to talented Master graduates.
What will the future look like? Will mobile phone banking become
the next big thing? Will internet entirely replace traditional
banking offices? The Retail Banking Leadership Programme provides
you with a clean sheet. Together we are about to write a
challenging chapter of our future: the merger of Postbank and ING
Bank where easy banking meets expertise.
Assignment
The Marketing team “Students” exists of 4
marketers and a manager. In order to come up with a marketing
strategy, they have to discover the students’ interests. Internet
is an important tool in order to communicate with this particular
target group. Therefore ING wants to improve their websites for
students in 2010. This can be done by adding relevant scans/tools
and content in the form of text and film. As an intern, you will be
working together with external parties in order to offer our
student clients more attractive advantages and nice extras. In the
meantime, it is important to test the results of your improvement
amongst the target group. You will also be responsible for the
online improvements in cooperation with the marketers and the
communication and internet department.
